Broke's Promise Cellar Door is open Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 11am until 5pm for wine, olives, and olive oil tasting.

To visit our "Cellar Door" travel 5.5 kilometres along Milbrodale Road from the Broke Store, enter the property at 725 Milbrodale Road and follow the internal road through the olive grove for 150 metres inside the property to the Cellar Door.

We offer you the opportunity to taste the latest vintages of our handcrafted boutique White and Red wines. Because our Estate is a vineyard and Olive Grove we also offer tastings of our Virgin and infused olive oils plus our Table Olives, Tapenades and other olive products.

Our Cellar Door also incorporates a Fine Arts Gallery featuring glassware, ceramics, timber products plus sandstone sculptor with pieces in the gallery and throughout the garden. We look forward to your visit. Please give us a call to arrange that special group booking.

Gartelmann Estate

Lovedale Road, Lovedale

Gartelmann specialises in the classic Hunter Valley varieties of Semillon and Shiraz but are also producing excellent wines from the well known varieties of Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Rose, Merlot, Shiraz, Sparkling White and Sparkling Shiraz and are completed with the addition of an ice-wine style Semillon/Verdelho, Liqueur Muscat and Liqueur Shiraz. Our cellar door is open 7 days a week, closing at 4pm on Sundays.

Krinklewood Biodynamic Vineyard

712 Wollombi Road, Broke

Krinklewood is a Certified Biodynamic Organic, family owned vineyard located just 2 ½ hours from Sydney or 15mins from Pokolbin. Every aspect of this Hunter Valley Vineyard and farm is managed in a holistic and sustainable way.

Krinklewood’s French inspired boutique cellar door is set amongst beautiful Provencal gardens, urns and fountains and nestled in the picturesque Broke Fordwich Valley. Here you will find the most delightful Hunter Valley wine tasting experience.

Wines available for tasting include; Verdelho, Semillon, Chardonnay, French-style dry Rosé, classic Hunter Valley Shiraz (including Basket Press Shiraz), sparkling Blanc de Blanc and Krinklewood’s very popular ‘Wild Red & White’.

Meerea Park

Meerea Park handcraft our wines using fruit grown on some of the Hunter Valley's oldest and best vineyard sites. We are Hunter Valley "terroirists"; specializing in individual vineyard Semillon and Shiraz, sourced from unique vineyard sites with the wines expressing clearly where they are from. We seek out the oldest vineyards on the best soils that we can for our Shiraz and Semillon that have a track record for producing the best possible fruit in both good and not so good vintages. Meerea Park has established a reputation as one of the leading wine producers in the Hunter Valley winning at least one Gold medal at every Hunter Valley wine show since 2002 and consistent wine show success at national and international level and received a multitude of accolades emphasizing high quality and exceptional value for money for our range of wines.

One of the smallest of the Hunter Valley boutique vineyards, Mount Broke Wines punches well above its weight with a string of high accolades and awards given to this tiny vineyard. Wines are available for tasting and sales on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, or through some of the leading Hunter Valley restaurants. The spectacular views across the valley towards Yellow Rock are one of the most spectacular and relaxing vistas in the Hunter.

Our team are all masters of everything that Bubbles and will provide you with both a fun and informative tasting. Our Cellar Door provides a unique experience with the huslte and bustle of guests, fun music, bubbles falling from the ceiling and colours to delight the senses. The newest addition to our Cellar Door is the Oyster Bar which is located on the Deck and open Saturdays and Sundays. Indulge in Oysters, Cheese, Antipasta and Sparkling Wine whilst taking in the beautiful views. Our Cellar Door is open to all, however we ask that groups of 8 or more do make a reservation. Pokolbin Brothers Wines is a small family-owned boutique wine business. The sought-after wines are carefully produced from select hand-picked grapes sourced exclusively from our old vine Grandvin Estate vineyard, first established in1976.

Specializing in two distinct wines, Chardonnay & Shiraz Merlot, the majority of our limited production is destined for export to Japan, where Pokolbin Brothers Wines is proudly featured in a restaurant patronized by the Imperial Household in the exclusive Ginza district of Tokyo.

Pokolbin Brothers Wines unassuming cellar door is housed within a corrugated iron winery shed, reminiscent of the region’s earliest cellar door beginnings. This is a place where you can still find authentic single vineyard, estate grown, low yield, hand-picked, gently pressed, genuine 100% Hunter Valley Wines, not blended with other wine regions. Visitors, including small bus tour groups, are all welcome. Groups are kindly requested to book ahead.

The Icon Lounge is a showcase of Gold and Trophy winning wines from great names such as Brokenwood, Tyrrell’s, McWilliams, Pepper Tree, Thomas, Capercaillie and Meerea Park to name a few.
The Icon Lounge is filled with natural light and has views across the vineyards to the Brokenback Range. Visitors can relax with a cheese plate and enjoy the best of the Hunter.
The Icon Lounge utilises the world class Enomatic dispensing system to showcase the 16 red and 8 white wines.
